Industrial Maintenance Technician
Trillium is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Columbus.
This Direct-Hire opportunity seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician with strong electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic expertise. You’ll join a respected structural steel fabrication company where accuracy, accountability, and craftsmanship matter. This role offers hands-on work across CNC machinery, cranes, welders, plasma systems, HVAC, and facility infrastructure, ideal for a technician who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and keeping a high-performance operation running smoothly.
You’ll handle preventative maintenance, equipment diagnostics, mechanical and electrical repairs, vehicle upkeep, and facility system support while working closely with operators, welders, fabricators, painters, and QC teams. Responsibilities:
-Preventative maintenance and repair on CNC beam processors, overhead cranes, hydraulic shear, press brake, band saws, CNC plasma tables, welders, plasma cutters, compressors, and conveyor systems
-Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems across production equipment
-Maintain shop vehicles including F250, Telehandler 12k, Side Loader 23k, and forklifts
-Support facility systems: lighting, switches, HVAC, network lines
-Maintain PM logs, replace worn components, and recommend improvements
-Safely operate cranes, welders, torches, grinders, and material-handling equipment
-Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
-Collaborate with CNC operators, foremen, welders, fabricators, painters, and QC personnel
Schedule is 1st Shift / 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM / Monday - Friday. Pay rate is $40 - $45 per hour DOE.

Qualifications:
-All candidates must complete a pre-hire drug screen prior to acceptance
-Electrical troubleshooting (120/208/240/480V, single & three phase), motor repair, industrial electrical systems
-Hydraulic and pneumatic system diagnostics and repair
-CNC machine troubleshooting and repair
-Mechanical troubleshooting, assembly, and component replacement
-Rigging, load handling, forklift operation, lift truck maintenance
-Blueprint reading, tape measure proficiency, basic computer skills
-Lockout/Tagout, machine safety inspections, manufacturing environment experience
