Pipe Welder

Trillium Construction is now seeking experienced Pipe Welders for an ongoing project at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN, starting July 27th.

Pipe Welders will be working on a commercial healthcare construction project welding 4”–20” sch 40 carbon steel pipe. 

Candidates should be comfortable working independently, following project specifications, and maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety. Candidates must consistently produce high-quality welds while working safely in an active hospital environment 

This project is expected to last approximately 2 months, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with overtime anticipated after the first few weeks as the project progresses. Pay is $40.00/hour.

Qualifications:
-Active Pipe Welding Certification must be on hand
-Minimum of 5 years of commercial or industrial pipe welding experience
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawings
-Previous hospital or healthcare construction experience is strongly preferred
-Experience with mechanical piping systems such as hydronic, chilled water, heating hot water, steam, or process piping is a plus, though the specific systems will be discussed on site
-Must have own trade tools
-Must wear standard PPE
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
