Pipefitter

Trillium Construction is now seeking experienced Pipe Fitters for an ongoing project at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN, starting July 27th.

This project is expected to last approximately 2 months, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with overtime anticipated after the first few weeks as the project progresses. Pay is $38.

Responsibilities:
 -Measuring, laying out, cutting, beveling, fitting, aligning, and assembling carbon steel piping
-Operating common pipefitting tools and equipment 
-Ensuring all pipe is properly prepared for welding
-Working independently while maintaining strict quality and safety standards in an active hospital environment
-Candidates should be comfortable working closely with Pipe Welders to ensure proper fit-up, alignment, and installation while keeping the project on schedule.

Qualifications:
-5+ years’ commercial or industrial pipefitting experience
-Proficient reading and interpreting blueprints, isometric drawings, and spool sheets
-Previous hospital or healthcare construction experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of mechanical piping systems
-Experience installing mechanical piping systems such as hydronic, chilled water, heating hot water, steam, condensate, or process piping is a plus, though the specific systems will be discussed on site
-Must have own trade tools
-Must wear standard PPE
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
