Production Worker
Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Production Worker / Compounder on 2nd Shift!
Standard Hours Monday-Friday, Training on 1st shift (7:30 am - 3:30 pm) for the first 5 weeks. Starting rate of pay is $18-$20/hour based on experience.
We are seeking an entry-level Compounder 1 to join our compounding team. This role ensures the quality and accuracy of flavor manufacturing for packaging and shipping to customers. Responsibilities include setting up and operating production equipment according to established procedures (SOPs), and learning to read and interpret basic formula instructions.
Essential Job Functions
-Operate production machinery and assist team members as needed.
-Package products and transport them using a pallet jack.
-Pass operational tests for pallet jacks and reach trucks.
-Monitor equipment for malfunctions and notify management if issues arise.
-Use proprietary software and ERP systems for daily tasks.
-Inspect and prepare raw materials for processing.
-Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items (up to 50lbs) safely.
-Accurately measure raw materials and follow compounding instructions.
-Add raw materials to equipment and mix according to procedures and formulas.
-Verify product quality standards.
-Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to GMP and SQF standards.
-Dispose of office trash, recyclables, and restock supplies in common areas.
-Participate in daily and weekly cleaning/sanitization schedules.
-Understand and assist in the packaging process as needed.
-Assist with cycle counts for inventory accuracy.
-Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
-Education: High school diploma (or GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Work Experience: 6 months to 1+ years as a Packager or 2-4 years in a related field.
-Industry Knowledge: Experience in food manufacturing or compounding is helpful but not required.
