Assistant Project Manager
Trillium is now hiring an Assistant Project Manager in Alfred Station, NY!
Our client specializes in utility scale solar and they are now looking to bring on a Site Assistant to help run a project in Alfred Station. This is a long term contracted role paying up to $37/hr depending on experience with a minimum of 40 hours a week.
Duties:
-Assist the Site Manager and Project Manager with daily site operations and project coordination.
-Maintain accurate project records, reports, logs, and other site documentation.
-Assist with daily project tracking, including manpower, equipment, materials, deliveries, and work progress.
-Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel as needed.
-Help monitor material deliveries and ensure materials are received, organized, and properly stored.
-Assist with maintaining site schedules and communicating schedule updates to the appropriate team members.
-Support daily site meetings, including preparation of meeting materials, notes, and action items.
-Assist with maintaining safety documentation, inspections, training records, and incident reports.
-Help ensure the jobsite remains organized and follows company safety and housekeeping standards.
-Take photographs and maintain daily documentation of project progress.
-Assist with tracking RFIs, submittals, punch-list items, and other project documentation.
-Support the Site Manager with administrative tasks, data entry, filing, and document control.
-Assist with tracking equipment and tools used on the project.
-Communicate site issues, delays, material shortages, or other concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
-Perform other duties as assigned to support successful completion of the solar project.

Qualifications:
-1–2 years of construction or solar project experience.
-Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar platforms.
-Experience with daily reports, timesheets, delivery tracking, and project documentation.
-Familiarity with solar construction activities, including site preparation, racking, module installation, electrical work, and commissioning.
-Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
