Senior Structural Engineer
Trillium is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Pittsburgh!
This Direct-Hire opportunity is seeking a current Professional Engineer (PE) to play a key role in delivering high-quality structural designs for a diverse portfolio of projects and clients.
This is a hybrid position with 3 days per week in office and 2 days per week at home.
Salary range is:
• $150,000 - $170,000 annually depending on experience
The Senior Structural Engineer will lead projects from concept through completion while collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, designers, contractors, and clients. The ideal candidate will enjoy solving complex engineering challenges, mentoring others, and making a direct impact on project success.
Responsibilities:
• Lead structural engineering and design efforts for a variety of projects
• Prepare, review, and approve structural designs and construction documents
• Stamp approved engineering plans as the Engineer of Record
• Read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to deliver high-quality design solutions
• Coordinate projects with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
• Develop project specifications and provide technical support to project management teams
• Review shop drawings and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance
Qualifications:
• Current Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Professional experience in structural engineering
• Strong knowledge of IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC, and applicable building codes and design standards
• Experience designing and detailing steel, wood, concrete, and masonry structures
