Trillium is seeking a CAE Applications Engineer in White River Junction!

This Direct-Hire opportunity is seeking an experienced CAE Applications Engineer to support customers through the implementation, application, and optimization of advanced Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) software solutions. This role serves as a technical expert, providing pre-sales and post-sales support, conducting software demonstrations, delivering training, and assisting customers with simulation and analysis challenges across a variety of engineering disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering analysis, simulation technologies, and customer-facing technical support. The CAE Applications Engineer will work closely with customers, sales teams, and software partners to ensure successful adoption of CAE tools while helping organizations improve product development processes, performance, and innovation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provide technical consulting, application support, and troubleshooting for CAE software solutions while assisting customers with model setup, validation, and results interpretation.
-Lead software demonstrations, technical presentations, proof-of-concept projects, and customer evaluations to showcase CAE capabilities and best practices.
-Deliver customer training and ongoing technical guidance to support the successful implementation and adoption of simulation and engineering analysis tools.
-Partner with sales teams to identify customer needs, develop technical proposals, and recommend solutions that align with engineering and business objectives.
-Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive support, technical expertise, and regular engagement.
-Stay current on simulation technologies, software enhancements, and industry trends while documenting customer interactions, project activities, and technical findings.
-Travel as needed to support customer visits, project requirements, conferences, and business development initiatives.

SKILLS:
-Hands-on experience with CAE, FEA, CFD, and/or multiphysics simulation software, with strong proficiency in engineering analysis tools.
-Solid understanding of engineering principles, product development processes, and simulation-driven design methodologies.
-Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges, interpret results, and deliver practical engineering solutions.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer-facing, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
-Experience conducting technical training sessions, software demonstrations, and application support activities preferred.
-Capable of managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-Self-motivated professional with strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

EDUCATION:
-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related engineering discipline.

SCHEDULE:
1st Shift / Monday - Friday.
Onsite, Fully Remote, or Hybrid.

RATE:
$75,000 - $100,000 annually DOE.
